busy.

Wow. So I'm a horrible blogger. Yes I know I've said that before, but I think I've reached a new low. I guess I'm just not used to being busy, so when I am I kind of only focus on those things and completely forget about everything else. I've been spending all of my time editing, especially the wedding from September (which by the way is completely edited, just not in the right file to send out yet.) And I've definitely been spending more time on real life, and life with God.

This past weekend we hosted a conference at my church called Brave Generation byHolyfire Ministries, and wow it was great! I'm not much of a word person. I don't know how to explain in words what my soul knows. I know that now I know God in a more intimate and accurate way, and that I can't get enough of Him. I have a hard time putting down my Bible because it's so full of Him and I want more.

And then I started reading the book Crazy Love. Again, wow! I pretty much can only read like 2 or 3 pages before I'm in complete awe and can't comprehend any more.
Here's a quote that has been running through my mind for the past couple of days.

"Whatever God's reason for such diversity, creativity, and sophistication in the universe, on earth, and in our own bodies, the point of it all is His glory. God's art speaks of Himself, reflecting who He is and what He is like... This is why we are called to worship Him. His art, His handiwork, and HIs creation all echo the truth that He is glorious."
My mom bought this vegetable pictured below caused me to do just that. Worship. Yes, a vegetable made me worship. If you want to know what it is, I can't really tell you because I don't know. Apparently, it's a cross between broccoli and cauliflower.

Oh and P.S. I created a new website. You can view it here: www.laurajanephotography.virb.com
And please let me know if I should keep my blog here or if I use the blog on my website. I kind of want to use that one because then everything will be in one spot, but then I want to use this one because I've been using for years.

  1. Yes, I know how you feel, the other day I wrote on twitter that blogging is like a full time job. Seriously. Love the 4th photo! Beautiful contrast.
