Hank & Gretchen

Finally. I finished the wedding pictures from September. Wow so it's hard to think all the way back to September and remember the details. It was a really beautiful and laid-back wedding. I loved how Hank and Gretchen had their ceremony in a garden plot that they planted themselves specifically for their wedding. How special is that? And instead of just having a cocktail hour, they had a lawn game hour. People played bocce ball, croquet, and pin the tail on the cat (not a real cat of course). Since they didn't have a bridal party, I had a whole bunch of time to just walk around with them doing a full portrait session.

Both Hank and Gretchen are avid bike riders. Biking seems to play a part in all that they do. They both rode in to their ceremony on single bikes and then they left together on a tandem bike, while the song "A Bicycle Built for Two" was played. How cute is that?! I really loved getting to know Hank and Gretchen. Even though Hank is my cousin, I didn't grow up around him. It was pretty neat that even though we hadn't seen each other in years, you could definitely feel a family familiarity.
So here are some of their pictures for you to enjoy.

Isn't this guy just the cutest thing ever?! They had an old typewriter set up so that people to write them little messages. This little guy was enjoying it so much.
