2011 has been a great photography year. I finally feel like I know what I'm doing. Jumping into this business was just that, jumping into it not entirely knowing what I was jumping into. Lots of learning photography, business, and life. Of course I don't say that I have it all figured out now, because trust me I don't, at all. But I love this business of mine and I wouldn't trade it for any other "real" job. It's been a year of finding and developing my photography style, and my clothing style too (which you'll see very soon). I can't wait for what 2012 has in store for my business. I'll be starting it off with an awesome workshop in Nashville in just a few weeks hosted by the super talented David Bean. Seriously can not wait! And I've made the goal to double the number of portraits sessions this year. So start planning ahead for your sessions now and book a date in whatever month you'd like. For some reason I had no sessions in the month of April this year which is strange since it happens to be like one of the nicest months, so go ahead and book your session for then. In the meantime, check out my favorite photos from 2011.
What are some of your favorite photos that you took this year (whether you're a photographer or not)? Feel free to leave some links in the comment section if you'd like. I'd love to see what your favorite images were.
