Dillon | High School Senior

Dillon is like my second brother. He's one of my brother's best friends and spends many days over at our house. I love his carefree and energetic personality and how he cares for others. His famous line is "oh I'm sorry". hahaha. We had so much fun during his session. My brother and his mom came along and that was the most people that I've ever had with me during a shoot that weren't getting their picture taken. I thought that it might be a little distracting, but it was definitely the opposite. We spent a good hour walking around downtown laughing and talking, and trying not to get hit by cars on what should seemingly be a fairly quiet street. I love being outside taking pictures of people and having cars drive by. People's reactions are so funny.
Fun fact about Dillon: he was an exchange student in Germany for all of last year. He's now pretty fluent in German and forgets that other people, like myself, don't know any German. He'll frequently say things in German and expect an answer, but I have no clue what he's saying. And then sometimes he forgets the words in English. It's quiet funny.
Enjoy the rest of your senior year, Dillon and enjoy your pictures.

  1. laura, your little stripe watermark looks soooo good! i've been playing around with different methods of applying a watermark and i really want something that would consistently be in the same area of the image so that i could apply it in lightroom... this could definitely be an option if you don't mind me making my own little version of it? please say you don't mind!

  2. thanks. the yellow was really bothering me when i put it on these pictures so i just got rid of it. and of course you can use the idea. it's not like i came up with it. haha i'm still not there with my logo yet. i really want jennifer to design it. i have one in mind but there's no way i could go about designing it myself. it's way too complicated.
